Convenient Workplace Hearing Tests

We conduct mobile hearing tests nationally with our audiometric testing vans. In a seamless process, all our hearing tests are performed inside our mobile units, ensuring that any hearing tests conducted on your workforce lead to minimal disruption to your operation. For clients with their own testing facilities requiring the aid of independent assessors, we can also provide fully trained staff to conduct your audiometric testing for you.

Workplace Hearing Tests Conducted By Experts

The JTA Workplace Hearing Test Process

After the completion of the audiometric testing sessions, we provide the following records:

A confidential letter addressed to and handed to employees on-site explaining their results, which is supported by an illustrative guide.
A management report sent to the company representative within 2 – 4 weeks.

Included in our reports are recommendations on whether any further action is required, including follow up medical or audiological examinations. Expert advice on the implementation of workplace noise management plans and information on how to comply with future legislative requirements is also provided. All reports can be customised to suit the specific needs of your organisation.

Workplace Hearing Test Legislation

Under the WHS Act, workplace hearing tests are required on commencement of employment and at least every two years for all employees who must wear hearing protection in their occupations. However, as there is considerable variance in the laws between states, seeking specialist advice from an occupational audiometric testing provider is crucial to ensuring you meet your legal obligations.
