Traffic Management Planning

Control traffic black spots with
a customized Traffic Management Plan

If you have a workplace with forklifts, vehicles coming and going, as well as people walking around then you need to put in place a traffic management plan to minimize the risk of injury. This plan will document how to ensure the safe movement of all traffic using the same workplace whether on foot or powered.

The starting point for any traffic management plan is a traffic risk assessment that will:

Identify the traffic hazards
Assess the risks
Recommend risk control measures
Review the effectiveness of the control measures

Our comprehensive traffic risk assessment makes sure that we identify all potential risks. We do this by using the following methods:

Looking at a floor plan of the workplace
Observing the movement + frequency of traffic
Analyzing floor surfaces, driveways, exits + overhead structures
Looking for blind spots
Reviewing injury + incident records
Viewing security footage

Following this assessment, we are able to determine what risks exists, how severe they are and what action you need to take to eliminate or reduce the risk.
